Rave cruises have become popular in the last couple years, pioneered by Friendship founder Gary Richards, better known as Destructo, back when Holy Ship was going in the 2010s. Today, Friendship boasts one of the best cruise festival lineups you can find, and sets sail this January for a trip you won't forget.
Wobbleland

As one of the first EDM festivals of the new year, Wobbleland boasts some of the biggest names in EDM in 2024. San Francisco is always a great spot to visit, and its moderate weather means you might get a nice break from the cold if you live somewhere other than California. Get tickets here.

Skyline Festival

Where: Los Angeles, CA
House and Techno lovers will not want to miss this festival when it kicks off this February at the Expo Park in LA. With more and more festival options in the winter months, this one will be more than enough to tide you over until the summer fests start up later this year. Hardcore fans, this one is for u! With a stacked lineup full of the best names in the game, Basscon Wasteland is the place to be this winter. Palm Tree Festival

Sometimes all I think about is seeing Lane 8 in Southern California during spring break. Sometimes, that wish can come true as it will at CRSSD Spring 2023. Very few festivals carry with them the scale that SXSW does. While it's not technically a music festival, SXSW is the place to be if you want to see where music, film, and tech cross paths within the industry side. There's no better way to celebrate St. Patricks Day than with a killer lineup at a great location. Although the 2023 Get Lucky lineup hasn't been released yet, V2 always kills it with their festival lineups. The 2024 festival has not been announced yet but keep an eye out!

Florida is getting a lot this year with tons of festivals coming to the area. Project Glow

Where: Washington, DC
Project Glow is one of DC's best (and only) festivals! This is one of the first festivals to bring an all-electronic lineup to the DC area, and our DC-area writer loved it in 2022! Sol Fest

Where: New Brockton. AL
Get ready to get down, Alabama! Sol Fest is bringing the bass-heavy vibes to New Brockton in May. This can't miss festival is the place to be if you're a bass fan this spring. Check out the lineup below and grab tickets here.
Sunfest
Where: West Palm Beach, FL
When: May 3-5
West Palm Beach is South Florida's hidden gem. If you haven't been, now is your chance. With great beaches and a great downtown area to check out at night, this college town is a great spot for a music festival. The 2024 lineup isn't out yet, but you can grab tickets here and keep an eye out for when it might be dropping.
Untz Festival

Where: Browns Valley, CA
Like I said before, if you've never been to a local music festival you should start. The Untz Festival is back in 2024 and will bring with it a great lineup at a festival located just 2 hours outside of San Francisco. If you're in the Bay Area, check this one out! Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas
When: May 17-19
Where: Las Vegas, NV
Again, if there are only a handful of festivals you attend in 2024, make EDC Las Vegas a top priority. EDC is, debatably, the biggest EDM festival in the world. With legendary art installments, art cars, stages, carnival rides and music, EDC is an experience unlike any other. There's no better way to kick off the summer for ravers in the south than at Hangout Fest. This annual festival is back again in 2024 and is sure to bring a massive lineup. 2023 had huge acts like Sza, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, and Flume, to name a few. Lightning In A Bottle

After disappearing for a couple of years, the transformational LightningIn A Bottle Festival is back in 2023 and will be better than ever for its 20th anniversary! This camping festival offers good vibes and good music, and the opportunity to learn more about yourself with thousands of rave babes just like you. House and techno heads, this one is for you. Fans of the genre need to make Movement a bucket list festival, as it celebrates the origins of house and techno in Detroit and around the midwest. Ubbi Dubbi is a great place for a spring break getaway. The festival has a diverse lineup of some of the best names in EDM and hip hop, and is located just outside of Dallas, Texas. Get tickets here.

Obviously Woodstock isn't around anymore, and only happened once, but if there were any festival that came close to the Woodstock vibes you've always dreamed of—it's Bonnaroo. Electric Forest

Speaking of camping festivals, one of the biggest camping festivals of the year is in Rothbury, MI each summer. Electric Forest brings life to the woods with incredible art, neon forests and unforgettable vibes. Governor's Ball

Where: New York, NY
Attending a music festival in New York should be on any ravers bucket list. The annual Governor's Ball is one of the biggest festivals of the year, and brings some of the biggest artists of the year to its stages each summer. Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge

Beyond Wonderland is one of the best festivals to go to if you're new to the rave scene. It's an Insomniac festival, but it's not the beast that is EDC and it's usually got a good mix of genres to pick from. This small-town music festival is anything but. Capitol Hill Block Party

Northern Lights Festival

Bass Camp Music Festival

The Reno-Tahoe area is a sight to behold in the summer, which means that this festival is a can't miss event. Bass Canyon

Where: The Gorge, WA
Raving at The Gorge is something you have to do at least once, and if you're a real one you do it every year. Bass Canyon is one of the best fests to check out if you're interested in raving at The Gorge, and its stacked lineup every year is a testament to that. While it's not technically a music festival, Burning Man is one of the bigger events in the United States each year. This annual event constructs an entire city in the middle of the desert, and the experience is unlike any other. With hundreds of stages, events and art installments to check out, odds are high that you won't even begin to scratch the surface of what Burning Man has to offer in just one visit. North Coast Music Festival

North Coast Music Festival is yet another can't miss festival in the Midwest. The annual festival boasts a killer lineup each year, and brings good vibes to Chicago with a genre diverse experience. Get tickets here.

ARC Music Festival offers some of the best house and techno in Chicago, the city where house music was largely invented. The whole experience offers some of the best house and techno in the global scene, and features stage and art design from some of the most famous clubs around the world, such as Elrow which is famous for its Ibiza location. Liquid Stranger's own festival, Wakaan, is a trippy adventure into the Ozarks every year. Last year's lineup featured artists like Barclay Crenshaw, Cannabliss, Champagne Drip, and Griz to name a few. This year's lineup hasn't dropped yet, but you can bet it will be just as big as ever. If you're in the Atlanta area, Imagine is one of the best festivals you'll find locally. With headliners like Sofi Tukker, John Summit, Dom Dolla, and Big Gigantic in 2023, you can bet that the 2024 lineup will be just as stacked when it comes out. Sacred Acre isn't just a festival, it's a celebration of all that is sacred in Alaska. The event doubles as a fundraiser and awareness event for banning trawling, a type of fishing that uses large nets and is detrimental to the ocean ecosystem. Miami's III Points Festival is one of the best house and techno festivals of the year. With tons of events and industry networking opportunities, this one is a must-go if you dream of working in the electronic music scene one day. Where: Orlando, FL
The biggest EDM festival of all moves to Orlando each November for an East Coast version. While I have heard it's a little bit stripped down compared to the Vegas festival, EDCO is still an epic festival from Insomniac. Get tickets here.
Apocalypse: Zombieland

Where: Long Beach, CA
Apocalpyse: Zombieland 2023 was described as "4 massive stages of bass that hold the key to shaking our world" and that's exactly what it was. This winter fest is one you have to check out if you're a bass head, so plan on it for 2024 and keep an eye out here for when the lineup drops later on.
