Nocturnal Wonderland took place September 14-15 in San Bernardino, CA. For the past few years, it’s always felt like the close to my summer. I was so happy to be back in the hills of the festival dancing and partying with all my friends! I love how intimate and small the venue feels. The view from the top of the hill is always overwhelming as you walk in and look over the stages and lights.

Now that we’ve all had some time to recover from Lost Lands and the “raver flu”, it is time to talk about how great it was! Lost Lands Year Two was definitely something I wasn’t expecting. This festival had more of everything this year and it kicked dino butt! There truly was More BASS, MORE F*CKING DINOSAURS, and MORE MUSIC. For the last 21 years,  thousands of ravers have been flocking to the Pacific Northwest to unite under the Seattle sky for this annual Halloween rave. For the last few years, Freaknight has bounced locations between the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington and the WaMu Theater in downtown Seattle. This year, this ghoulish event is making its way back to the WaMu Theater for a single night of raving with an ultra-stacked lineup.   Continue Reading

For many months, I dreamed about going to the Gorge Amphitheatre for a festival. Seeing the photos of other events and festivals taking place at that gorge-ous venue and the amazing views of the Columbia River and mountains made me determined to visit this venue. Earlier this year, I saw that Bass Canyon, a new festival hosted by Excision, was taking place there. After seeing the lineup and location, I knew I had to go. Full on production, lasers, all things bass, The Paradox, scenic views- what more could I ask for? I took a flight to Seattle, rented a car with my best friend, and we took off for the Gorge Amphitheatre with our car full of camping gear. Continue Reading

In addition to going to raves, I’m one of many out there who has super eclectic music taste. Recently, Camp Flog Gnaw (CFG) has peaked my interest. It has some artists I really enjoy on the lineup, and is taking place close to home at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. CFG is happening the weekend of November 10-11, 2018 and literally sold out in mere minutes. No matter what city you’re in or what your situation is like, to make someone intentionally feel like they don’t belong is exactly what we don’t need in the EDM community. Judgment doesn’t belong in this space! No matter the subgenre or the type of event, why would you try to make someone feel uncomfortable or out of place?
