Ever After Music Festival 2019

All right my Canadian ravers, it’s time to buckle your seatbelts because this summer we’re jumping past the bad vibe villains and anti-PLUR plot and skipping right to our happily ever after. That’s right, we’re headed straight for Ever After Music Festival. (Hell = yeah).

Ready to embark on our epic summer quest? Here’s everything you need to know before setting off.

Rave Photography - The Beauty Behind the Lens

Rave Photography - The Beauty Behind the Lens

Ever wondered how the magic happens behind the lens? I sat down with Erik Copley and Stephanie Le to discuss with them about how they got their start in photography and how they take photos for ravers.   CONTINUE READING
Listen to This: Earplug Review

Listen to This: Earplug Review

Speaking from personal experience, I can tell you that earplugs do not prevent you from hearing the music. I wear them to every music event I attend, and I can still hear every wub, dub and drop perfectly, and yes, still loudly!

While it depends on the type, a lot of ear plugs simply filter out the excessively loud sounds while still allowing you to enjoy the sound at a safe level. In a lot of cases, the music doesn’t sound muffled or distorted. Here’s a review of several different earplugs I’ve had experience with.

Ubbi Dubbi 2019 To Take Over Texas In April

Ubbi Dubbi 2019 To Take Over Texas In April

Is it just me, or are new festivals popping up right and left? I mean, I’m certainly not complaining (my bank account, on the other hand, isn’t quite as thrilled), and I’m super excited about the themes and lineups of some of these brand new festivals. I’m particularly excited for is Ubbi Dubbi. This brand new springtime event will take place Saturday, April 27th and Sunday, April 28th at the Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas. Stereotypes, Stigmas and Sober Raving, Let’s Talk About It

Stereotypes, Stigmas and Sober Raving, Let’s Talk About It

I find that when I combat this stereotype with the obvious, “you know that’s not what EDM shows are all about, right?” I’m often left with eyebrow raises and silent screams of, “yeah, right." I wanted to dive deeper into the topic of sober raving and look past the lens of my own personal experience. So, I decided to dig up some truth and have open and honest conversations with active festival goers. CONTINUE READING

Lights All Night 2018: The Perfect Way to End the Year

I can’t really think of a better way to end one year and begin the next than at a massive music festival. Being surrounded by the best music and vibes helps me reflect on the past year while setting my sights on the future, all at the same time. It was for these reasons that I chose to spend a couple of my last days of 2018 at Lights All Night, a festival I’d been wanting to make it out to for a few years now. CONTINUE READING

Get Together Festival: Celebrating 2018 the Best Way Possible

Another amazing year of festivals has finally come to and end, and I am so thankful I got to sign off 2018 at Get Together this year in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I got to spend the final week of 2018 with two insane nights filled uplifting vibes, killer performances, some new pals and a perfect memory to add to 2018’s memory lane. This event held an extra special place in my heart because it was the first time my boyfriend, Jake, would be returning back to the music scene.  CONTINUE READING

Vujaday Music Festival: The Destination Festival of 2019

Vujaday Music Festival first appeared on the scene last year for its inaugural event. I was easily enticed last year to look into it after learning it’s organized by Canada’s premier music festival agency, The RKET. Plus, not to mention, the fact that it’s hosted on an island in the Caribbean. CONTINUE READING

Countdown NYE: 5 Sets Not to Miss

Can you believe that Countdown NYE is less than 2 weeks away?! I’m definitely counting down the days to this event. This year, Countdown will be held at National Orange Show Event Center or NOS in San Bernardino, CA on Monday, December 31st! Prepare to be abducted into this night of music, which will be worth the loss of sleep. The mixture of artists is out of this world and I’m hoping to catch as many sets as possible! Here are five sets you CANNOT miss during the event.
