How To Clean Your Fluffies
We all love our Fluffies, but know how dirty they can get at raves. We’re here with a step by step guide to show you the best way to take care of your iHeartRaves Fluffies!
There are some people who choose to machine wash their Fluffies. We do not recommend this as they are hand made with delicate faux fur. The best way to insure longevity of your Fluffies is to hand wash them and hang dry. Here's how we do it at iHeartRaves!
Step 1: Grab your dirty Fluffies and head to your laundry room or any room with a hand wash sink. I'm washing my Fluffies in the kitchen because I have the most room to wash my Fluffies here. These are the things you will need: mild detergent, hangers, a small plastic comb, a small rag and a lint roller.
Step 2: If you have grass or pieces of debris stuck in your Fluffies try removing them first with a small comb or lint roller. You want to get as much of this out of the fur before you get it wet. Once it gets wet it will be harder to remove this debris from your Fluffies.
Step 3: Rinse your Fluffies under cold water. Be sure and run cold water over any dirty areas for at least 30 seconds. The water will wash out any loose dirt in your Fluffies. You want to get as much surface dirt out as you can during this step.
Step 4: Use a mild detergent and soak your Fluffies in warm water. If your Fluffies are really dirty, you can use a small rag to wipe the dirt out. But be sure to wipe gently and not scrub. Scrubbing can tangle and damage your Fluffies.
Step 5: Rinse out the detergent with cold water. Repeat step 3-4 if needed.
Step 6: Hang your Fluffies up to dry.
Step 7: Use a small plastic comb to brush the fur of your Fluffies. Be sure to brush downward towards the bottom where it tapers. This will make your Fluffies nice and soft again.
Now you're ready to rave again in your clean Fluffies!
