Cute skirt, runs large!! I got M/L and i’m usually closer to large size but this sat very loose on my hips more than waist like I wanted it

I am 155, 34b, 31in waist, 5'7. I got the L/LX in both the top and skirt. Normally with J Valentine shorts/rave bottoms, I take the L/XL. They run a bit small. So I thought that would be the case with this set. The L/XL top was perfect, but the skirt was wayyyy to big. If you have measurements like mine or smaller, do not get the L/XL skirt. And now the item is no longer on sale so I can't repurchase in my size.
