After a successful comeback in 2021, Sunset Music Festival returns to Tampa, Florida May 27-29. The three-day event will take place over Memorial Day weekend, so you know it’s going to be a massive party. This event always has a killer lineup and experience for the guests, so it’s no surprise that the first phase of the lineup is already stacked.
The Lineup
Both phases of the lineup are out and I regret not planning to go to this event. The three-day event will include performances from Armhmr, Crystal Skies, Dabin, Jason Ross, Mitis, Duke Dumont, Gryffin, Liquid Stranger, Malaa, and the one and only Skrillex. Phase two announced Illenium, Alesso, Zeds Dead, Tchami, Oliver Heldens, John Summit, Walker and Royce, and Dom Dolla. This lineup is already insane and I’ve only named a couple of the artists. The Event
Sunset will begin in the late afternoon. Doors open at 4:00 pm and will go until midnight at Raymond James Stadium. Tickets, packages, and table service are available for purchase. Ticket options include General Admission, General Admission Plus, and VIP. General Admission starts at $199.95 and general admission plus is $249.95. VIP starts at $319.95. The event is coming up quickly, so I suggest securing your passes soon. If you’re interested in table service, you can fill out a reservation form on the website. There are also hotel and travel packages available. The event will have numerous stages and plenty of activities for you and your rave fam.
Raymond James Stadium is really close to the Tampa airport, so anywhere between the airport and Downtown Tampa will probably be easy to get around if you're looking for hotels. South Tampa has a lot of things to do around the area and is a pretty quick drive to get to the festival, and downtown will likely have after parties or other things to do once the festival ends each night.
What to Wear
During the event, the weather will be a high of 88-94 degrees, with a low of 74 degrees. This is perfect festival weather, though in the Florida humidity it might feel warmer than it is. iHeartRaves has plenty of outfits to help beat that Florida heat. When I think of Sunset Music Festival, I think of bright colors and patterns.
