So, whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, allow us to provide some reviving insight and get down to some of the best tips and tricks to keeping yourself awake!
Pre-Game the Night Before! (By pre-game, we mean SLEEP and sleep hard!)
As obvious as it may seem, getting in that beauty sleep before a show is going to be one of the most efficient ways of preparing yourself and your body for the long night(s) of dancing ahead. The recommended amount will be anywhere between 7-9 hours to charge up that rave baddie battery fully!
Eat, Drink (Water), Rave, Repeat!
The next best thing we can do to prepare ourselves is to fuel up by eating foods/snacks that’ll maintain our energy levels, like that famous Energizer bunny. To keep going like that bunny, we gotta eat like the bunny! Think hydrating and nutritious foods such as fruits, leafy greens, nuts, etc. You get the idea! Although, we’re sure it’ll come as a surprise to nobody that the most energizing fundamental of them all goes to… WATER! Drink up that H2O so you can be ready to go, go, go!
Don’t Stop Dancing, Girl!
A bit of wisdom from the musical genius that is Kaskade! Keep your body up and moving in whatever ways you can think of. It doesn’t have to be anything crazy. Unless that’s your thing, then, by all means, go wild! Dancing, stretching, or even just a small walk across the venue will help with keeping that oxygen flowing and those energy levels on the up and up!

Whether you’re making new pals or stirring up small talk with your crew, conversation is one of the best ways to keep your mind stimulated and focused! What That Mouth Do, Tho?
The answer? It talks AND it breathes! Pretty sweet, eh? We’ve already touched base on how talking can help keep you up, so let’s go over breathing and how it can help! Deep breathing is a practice often used to help increase alertness and energy levels and can be practiced just about anywhere. Place one hand on your stomach, inhale deeply through your nose, feel the air fill your stomach under your hand, then breathe out through your mouth with your lips pursed. Repeat however many times necessary and voila! Energy!
