It's the dog days of summer and, while we're usually spending this time of year getting ready to say farewell to summer-camping festivals, 2020 definitely looks a little different. But, that's not to say that you still can't plan an epic end-of-summer send-off! Why not consider planning a day trip (or road trip) to the beach with your festie besties? Make your adventure even more epic by utilizing these tips customized for the perfect beach day for ravers:

Ā

1. Plan Your Outfit, Beach!

If you're missing the fun (and sometimes agony) of planning the perfect rave look for a festival, you're in luck! The beach is the perfect place to show off your perfect 'fit (and that rave booty)! Did you know many of iHeartRaves' outfits also double as swimwear? So, if you're looking for that excuse to splurge - now is a perfect time. Buy a swimsuit now and use it as an outfit as your first fest of 2021!

Step 2: Glam it Up

Take your look to the next level by adding a little bit of sparkle (note: make sure you use biodegradable glitter at the beach!) This Lunuactice Fiji Bio Glitter is the perfect look for the beach! Adding elements of blues, greens and purples will make your look really pop with the ocean views in the background!

Step 3: Bring the Rave With You

Thanks to your pre-covid self, chances are, you probably have some camping gear laying around the house from previous festivals. Why not bring it to the beach? Here are a few ideas for some items to bring to make your day breezy:

  • Portable speaker
  • Portable Charger
  • Hula Hoops or other flow toys (especially for when the sunsets!)
  • Portable grillĀ
  • CanopyĀ
  • Inflatable water toys
  • Ringlight attachment for your smartphone (an investment you can't go wrong with)
  • Polaroid Camera
  • Camping Chairs
  • SUNSCREEN

Ā

Step 4: Capture it All On Camera

If you and your squad got all dressed up, document the epic day with some pics! Be sure to tag #iheartraves for a chance to be featured in your stylin' swimwear!Ā
