Social distancing making you go stir crazy? Have no fear - there are plenty of things you can do to take your mind off of things that are productive. Plus, your future self will thank you once festival season is back in action! From making kandi to learning a new festival skill, check out this list of things to do during social distancing that can all be done from the comfort of your own home.

1. Make Kandi

You can never have too much kandi on hand! Now is a great time to check out a new tutorial to try something challenging like making a 3D cuff. Plus, you can order beads on Amazon so you don’t have to leave your house. Making kandi can also be a soothing activity to take your mind off of other things!

2. Learn a New Festival Skill

Ever wanted to shuffle, hoop, pixel whip, orbit, etc, but never had the time to learn? Now is a perfect time! With the power of the internet at your fingertips, you can easily YouTube some tutorials from the comfort of your living room. You’ll be SO happy you did this once festival season comes back in action!

3. Watch a Live Steam with your friends via Google Hangouts

While it’s tragic that some festivals have been canceled, why not relive an old festival live steam with your friends? Plan a time to connect on Google Hangouts (or just a good ol’ group chat), crack open a beer and relive all the feels through a live steam. Consider checking out EDC or Ultra’s archives.

4. Plan the Ultimate Festival Adventure

Chances are, right now you’re probably saving money - so, why not come up with a budget to have the ULTIMATE festival adventure when festivals are back in action? Pick a future destination with you and your squad and put together a budget for an epic trip. Ever wanted to ball out on VIP? Now’s your chance to put together a budget to share with your squad about how it’s actually a legit option. Because things are so up in the air, I’d recommend planning for a trip that’s at least two months away, as well as getting travel insurance for everything you book.

5. Clean/Reorganize Your Festival Wardrobe

If you're anything like me, chances are that there's an explosion of festival clothes strewn randomly around your closet or under your bed. Now's a great time to reorganize or donate! Plus, you'll have more room for all your 2020 outfits.

6. Spread Some PLUR

PLUR doesn't have to stop because festivals aren't happening right now. There are tons of people that need help at a time like this! Ask your friends or family if they know somebody that needs some grocery shopping done. Or, simply spread some cheer via the internet - reconnect with old friends via messenger, compliment a stranger, etc! You have the power of positivity right at your fingertips.

No matter how you choose to spend your time social distancing, remember to stay positive and look out for each other! Now is our time to be leaders in our community and show the rest of the world what PLUR truly means.

Stay safe & healthy, fam!
