All that glitters ins't necessarily gold
Pros: The YRU Lala Glitter Platform, is the epitome of festival footwear, it's charmingly kitschy with just the right amount of heft to keep your feet grounded and prevent a wicked twisted ankle during a rave. The holographic glitter finish is versatile enough to complement any outfit and withstands inclement weather conditions. Pro tip: An old toothbrush and footlocker's sneaker cleaner, brings these bad boys back to life with very little effort. The glitter finish resists most dirt and grime, so you end up just having to give the platform sole a good yet light scrubbing. Cons: The hefty mass of the sole of the sneakers combined with the lack of flexibility of the velcro straps and the short sneaker tongue, results in the top velcro strap digging into the superficial portion of your talocrual joint. If the tongue extended a but more beyond the top velcro strap, this may have provided ample padding to protect that portion of my feet from the abrasive edge of the velcro strap. These platforms are not recommended for consistent wear past 3-4 hours. Although I was able to weather through the pain for the first day of Ezoo. I had to retire them for the rest of the festival.
