As humans, we are unquestionably constricted by our egos, our selfish and introspective ways that often distort reality. It controls us, our sense of self, our behaviors, motivations, beliefs; our identity in its entirety. Many of us are oblivious of this phenomenon, or rather choose to be blinded to it because we challenge change and growth. For those who seek a higher purpose, an earthly experience grounded in the spiritual, we pursue an existence that strays away from self-satisfaction and egoistic tendencies. Enter the ego death, the complete loss of subjective self-identity. Few are lucky to embark upon this spiritual transcendence but for those who do, death represents the soul's elevation to a higher level. Amidst this adjournment, we evolve far beyond the scope of human comprehension, and with it, mind wide open, may we traverse the portal.
