Meet Mama Unicorn!
Position at iHeartRaves: Sr. Brand Manager
Favorite Thing about Working at iHeartRaves: iHeartRaves has been such a blessing in my life and I feel lucky every day that it came into my life when it did and to have been able to nurture it’s growth to where it is now. My favorite thing is meeting customers whose self-confidence has been influenced by wearing our clothes or have been inspired by our brand in any way. It’s the most rewarding feeling to connect with our customers on a personal level.
Favorite candy: I have the biggest sweet tooth. My favorite candy is definitely smarties.
Festival you’re most looking forward to: There’s so many this year I’m looking forward to it’s hard to pick one to mention, but Electric Forest is definitely one I’m counting down the days to go back to. It’s a festival I would recommend everyone attend at least once in your life if you get the opportunity to. The forest is beyond magical, it feels like home the minute you arrive and there’s so much to discover beyond just amazing music.
What do you wish you could tell your former rave self: “Don’t ever get discouraged to the point of giving up, little unicorn. Your dreams are yours and only yours to own no matter how different they may be. Good things come to those who work hard and never give up.” If you were to tell my 19-year-old self that she would grow up to become Mama Unicorn and build a brand based on her love for festivals she probably wouldn’t believe you. There are times I wish I wasn’t so hard on myself during this journey, but I’m just so thankful I never gave up and stood up for my dreams even when they seemed so far out of reach. I’ve learned so much and look forward to all the wisdom I will continue to gain from this community and this opportunity I’ve been given.
Favorite set you ever saw: Kaskade at Identity Festival at Cricket Wireless Theater in Chula Vista, CA on Labor Day Weekend 2011. He opened with “Eyes” which was beyond magical and I remember ending with “Don’t Stop Dancing Girl” which was the last time I heard that song live. The whole set resonated with me so much and sparked a feeling that still inspires me every day.

Meet Tiny Dancer!
Position at iHeartRaves: Social Media Manager
Favorite Thing about Working at iHeartRaves: My favorite thing about working for iHR is that I get to come to work every day and be myself! I’m able to express who I am through fashion, music, and my passion for the rave community. Through iHR I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many of our customers and like-minded people who value this culture as much as I do. I also get to work with talented, inspiring people - those of which are actually some of my best friends.
First Festival Attended: EDC Los Angeles 2007
What up & coming artist would you recommend our customers check out: Virtual Self, Yotto, Luttrell, No Mana, Camelphat, Fisher, Way Out West, and Spencer Brown.
Favorite Set you ever saw: This is so tough! But it would have to be three-way tie between Armin’s Armin Only Set at TAO 08/09, Above and Beyond’s Trance Around The World 350 set and Kaskade’s Dynasty Tour set at the Palladium.
Something you wish you could tell your former rave self: Stop saying “This is going to be my last rave” because you feel like you need to “grow up”. If raving is something that you love, something that brings you happiness and is something that isn’t affecting your life in a negative way, then there is no reason to leave it behind. Eventually, I figured this out, and I’m so happy I did or else I wouldn’t be where I am today. Pave your own path in life, find out what sparks your fire, work hard in school and network like crazy. I promise, good things will happen :)

Meet Pixxie Stixx!
Position at iHeartRaves: Marketing Coordinator
Favorite Thing about Working at iHeartRaves: My favorite thing about working at iHR is being able to spread fabulous festival fashion every day. I also love my incredible team and have a great time coming up with new ways to make a larger impact on our community.
What stage do you usually hang out: You’ll most likely find me at the house & techno stage but I also love progressive trance and psytrance.
Your Bucket List Festival: Rainbow Serpent in Australia. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this colorful festival. They have a pre-festival shopping event with some of the coolest festival fashion brands all over the world. Also, it is predominantly psytrance which I have been getting super into.
What up & coming artist would you recommend our customers check out: Soul Catalyst for sure! A blend of indie & electronica with live vocals, his tunes always bring a smile to my face. Feels like its mid-afternoon at a festival, everyone is grooving together, the sun is peeking through the trees and the vibes are intensely high.

Position at iHeartRaves: Associate E-commerce Manager
Favorite Thing about Working at iHR: Aside from working with awesome people, my favorite part about my job is running Studio 240’s blog! I love to be able to connect people together through story-telling.
What stage do you usually hang out: Although my EDM tastes range all over the place, I'm a headbanger at heart and can usually be found at the Bass Stage.
What do you wish you could tell your former rave self: You don’t have to go to every show! If you have to choose between paying rent and attending the festival, pay your rent..there will always be more shows. I used to try and attend every show that was near me even if I really wasn’t fond of who was playing. These days, I’m a bit more selective and I think that makes attending events more special for me now. :) I also would definitely tell my younger self to wear ear plugs! I finally invested in a high-quality pair and I wish I would’ve done it sooner.
Festival You’re most Looking Forward to: In six years of raving, I have actually never been to EDC! I’m really excited for my first experience under the Electric Sky.
Drink of choice: Dirty vodka martini with extra olives, please!
