THE DIARY OF LUNARISMOON: A RAVE FASHION VIRGIN

RAVING IN THE MIDWEST: SAME LANGUAGE, DIFFERENT DIALECT

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois; and by Chicago, I mean Sterling, a town where stalks of corn outnumbered the people by the thousands. EDM and raving  was not only frowned upon, but scoffed at and ostracized, like if you listened to it you were committing some sort of unforgivable sin.

MY DECREE TO THE MAIN STAGE JUNKIES & CYNICS

We all know those people. You know, the ones who hear that you’re seeing an artist at the main stage of a festival you are attending and respond with some sort of moan, groan, or snarky comeback. Every rave family has some sort of population of these people. These are the main stage haters, and they are a dedicated and loyal group that are hard shells to crack.
