We hear a lot about the West coast being the best coast, but that’s because whoever said that hadn’t raved on the East coast yet! Last Thursday Mama Unicorn, Tiny Dancer and I made our way to Orlando for their edition of Electric Daisy Carnival at Tinker Field on November 4 and 5 and it was one of the best festival experiences we could’ve had.
We saw so many friendly faces and were pleasantly surprised at how many people actually knew that we were from iHeartRaves. It always makes us happy to know that we’ve been able to reach the east coast though we haven’t been there and we are incredibly happy to have met you all!
On Friday we went into the festival early. It was day 1 so we had to make sure we had ample time to explore. We had fun playing in the ball pit with @dougsanvant who captured the moment. We took a ride on the Ferris wheel which gave us an awesome view of the entire festival before we met up with @CandiceAlice, @purringkitten, and our EDCO Unicorn Crew!

Aside from meeting all of you and exploring our new playground, we caught some great sets! Though we didn’t get to see everyone we wanted to, we did catch Standerwick, NGHTMRE, Ephwurd, Cosmic Gate, Ferry Corsten, Tokimonsta, Chris Lake, Rabbit in the Moon, Bassnectar, Porter Robinson, Jamie Jones, Above and Beyond, and Nero. We spent the entire Nero set singing to each other and it was great. I have to say Nero was the best set of the weekend! I was actually really excited for Porter Robinson’s DJ set, but was slightly disappointed in it. I guess when you have such high expectations, it’s easy to be let down. Porter’s DJ set was still amazing regardless. It seemed like a World’s DJ set, if that makes sense.

Matching rave couples are our fave!
Being butterflies in front of this awesome chalk wall!
Though Tiny Dancer and I didn’t know anyone there, Mama Unicorn knew a couple of glovers she had met a few years back at TomorrowWorld and they were great tour guides! Shout out to the best tour guides in Orlando @iam_dmt and @itrippz! Whenever we didn’t know what to do or where we should go, they took care of us. The whole festival experience was wonderful! We had no trouble getting to or from the festival both days and the venue itself was pretty easy to navigate. And though the production is not nearly as big as EDCLV, it was still just as magical. Thank you Orlando for such an amazing first east coast rave experience, we can’t wait to come back next year!
