Electroland 2018

Last year Disneyland Paris announced it’s first ever Electroland - a one-day event featuring well-known EDM DJs. To my great delight, it wasn’t a one-time event! This year, Electroland is back as a two-day event and with a killer lineup.

This magical event is perfect for the EDM lover and Disney freak. Electroland, with the perfect tagline, “where music meets magic” will take place June 29-30, 2018 at Disneyland Paris. The DJ booth gets set up at the base of the Hollywood Tower of Terror, allowing for two nights of different DJs to play for the crowd.

Last year was the first year Disneyland Paris hosted this as a one day event with four big headliners, including Steve Aoki and Nervo. This year, it's back as a two-day event and with an even better lineup than last year (in my opinion)! Friday night hosts: Robin Schulz, Bob Sinclar, and Klingande. Saturday night hosts: Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, Mosimann and Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago.

If I had to choose one night over the other (in my fantasy world I live in daily), I’d go with Friday night. Bob Sinclar is especially meaningful to me, as he is one of the artists that first got me into EDM.

When I was 16 I had the chance to be a nanny in Paris, and one of the first things I did was go to FNAC (basically their version of a record store) and buy a CD with the top songs from the summer. This album was musically, life-changing for me, as it introduced me to all these new electronic artists that I continued to follow afterward. One song on the CD that really stood out to me was the song, “World Hold On,” by Bob Sinclar. So, seeing Bob Sinclair play IN PARIS, would definitely be magical for me!

You can get more information, including ticket prices, on their site here. There are some tickets they give you day access to the park and then the party at night, which sounds awesome. Disneyland Paris is a cool 42 minutes from Paris via train, so it’s not that bad of an idea for a day trip if you’re local!

I'm really hoping I can make it to this event! I’m itching for an international trip, and Paris is very affordable to fly to from the USA these days.
